Tech giant Apple has cut down the trade-in values for older iPhone models by up to $80 in the U.S., as spotted by MacRumors on Wednesday.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Pro models are the most affected by the cut in the trade-in values, as the Cupertino giant has reduced the value of these iPhones by up to $80.
For instance, the iPhone 13 Pro Max will now fetch $570 as its trade-in value against $650, which was offered before. Similarly, the iPhone 13 Pro would give you a maximum of $470 versus the previous $550.
Besides this, Apple has also reduced the trade-in value of most Android smartphones, which are accepted as part of the company’s trade-in program. In addition, the trade-in value of Apple Watch SE, Series 5, and Series 7 has also been reduced by $5.
Further, the company has increased the trade-in values for some older models of MacBook by up to $40. However, the trade-in values were not changed for any iPad models.
